Every day on our stand:

  • Sign up for membership free of charge
  • Factory representatives available to discuss Angus bonus scheme and market requirements
  • Alltech will advise on maximizing carcass weights and meeting consumer requirements in the early maturing breeds at 12 noon and 3pm each day
  • €1000 cash prize to guess carcass weight of 2 bullocks. Entry fee €2 or 3 for €5.  All proceeds to Cycle Against Suicide charity.

Helping to raise awareness of suicide and mental health

Angus Beef Ireland was delighted to assist Cycle against suicide raise valuable funds to raise awareness of the importance of looking after your mental health.

Angus Beef Ireland at the Ploughing Championships 2014

Angus Beef Ireland drew a crowd at this year’s Ploughing Championships. 3 bullocks were on display for farmer to guess the combined carcass weight for €1. All donations went to the Youth Suicide  Prevention Ireland. A winner will be drawn and announced in the Farmers Journal with the prize of the price of the heaviest animal.

Angus Beef Ireland launch new website

The new website www.angusbeef.ie is the latest development from Angus Beef Ireland in elevating their status in the market place. In addition to providing assurances around certified Angus beef, it provides useful cooking tips and recipes for the consumer. It also showcases pedigree Angus cattle breeders and provides useful information on producing Angus cattle for certification.
