At the end of the three glorious days the attendance figure for the 88th Championships came to a record breaking 297,000 visitors. The good weather and the excitement of a change of venue helped lift the spirits of farmers and their families in these difficult times.

Angus Beef Ireland would like to thank our many producer group members and public who visited our stand over the three days and supported our chosen charity “Cycle Against Suicide”.

The winners of the Angus Beef Ireland producer group members draw will be listed on the www.certifyangus.com website. A producer group member can check if they are a winner by logging on to the site using their username and access code. All winners will be advised in writing.

The Connaught/Leinster Aberdeen-Angus Club held its annual herds competition awards night Sunday 15th September. This year’s competition was judged by Jim Borland from Kelso in the Sottish Borders.
